Whether a nation will thrive or not depends on the constitution of its
middle and small scale enterprises. The factor is especially crucial for
developing countries when turning themselves to developed countries.
Taiwan is famous for its OEMs, so our GDP grows up because of these striving OEMs.
They have extraordinary perseverance, and with this feature they
overcome many difficulties. Today, Mr. Kuo, the manager of one of the
representative enterprises, Fa Yang, would love to share his experience about how he faces competitions and requirements from its clients.
A: Fa Yang Enterprise is the first fishing lures manufacturer
that crowns with the certification of ISO 9001. Since we changes the
clapped-out manufacturing process, many foreign clients turn back to us
to purchase our products, and at the same time we win our clients'
confidence. So far we try to convert our materials into environmental
ingredients to emphasize on our environmental consciousness. Case in
point, we replace lead with zinc to mold the fishing lures, and replace soft PVC with "bio-catabolic" ingredients. When consumers' green consciousness rises up, we, the fishing lures manufacturers, have to change our concept. Thus, seizing the timing and the converting of ingredients are our biggest homework.
Q2: When dealing with the ordering from clients, do you have any special experience or praise from clients?
A: So
far we succeed the manufacturing techniques from the last generation
and creativity of our generation. So when our old clients turn back to
us, they acclaim our creativity and it helps us grab more business
chances. The new concept of our generation extends our sales range. And
this makes us realize "trade" is not merely about money but a chance, or
bridge, between clients and us.
